#14 Monique's Story: Growing Up with a Bipolar Parent
For this episode, Monique shares her experience of growing up in Canada with her mum, who has Bipolar II, and the highs and lows that came with that for her and her family.
How we relate to the world and experience our own mental health can be challenging. It can be a difficult thing to navigate and find the support you need. Something that can be easy to overlook is the stories of the friends and loved ones who are out there trying their best to offer the support that is needed, often in very strained conditions.
Being the person who is there to offer support can be just as much a journey of discovery and learning as it is for the person who is experiencing the depression, anxiety, or what ever it may be.
